KARACHI:
Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the adviser to Sindh chief minister on information, law and anti-corruption, said in a statement on Tuesday that due to the anti-people policies of the federal government, 220 million people were being deprived of their basic rights.

He said that the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) also recognised the ineffectiveness of the Centre's economic policies. In a report that they published, SBP also predicted that the economic situation would further deteriorate in the coming days. Inflation is increasing day by day, said Wahab, adding that the lives of the poor people would become more difficult.

The adviser said that it would be better if the PM accepted his defeat and begs pardon from the people. By accepting his mistake, it is possible that the situation might improve. Wahab said that Khan had once again taken a U-turn and now he claims that he will build 10,000 houses in one and a half years. Before the elections, he had promised to build five million houses for the poor but he is, in fact, depriving them of their existing shelters.
