Social impact organisation Knowledge Platform has bagged the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) funded Grand Challenge award.
The organisation was selected from over 3,000 innovative applicants worldwide with only 15 being chosen to bring their interventions to life.
In partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Knowledge Platform will soon be launching Birds & Bees: a classroom without walls.

It will be launching a sustainability programme in the federal capital to endow students with the skills needed for success in the 21st century.
The Knowledge Platform is one of the only organisations in Pakistan to have partnered with Gates Foundation for an education-based intervention.
The organisation's Birds and Bees programme teaches young learners from across Islamabad to take responsibility for the health and wellbeing of birds and bees.
It focuses on reducing inequality by making innovative educational techniques such as project-based learning available to students.
The initiative is the brainchild of Mahboob Mahmood, the organisation's founder.
"Children who grow into leaders are fluent in 21st century skills that enable them to navigate between books and the social, practical, and creative spheres," Mahmood said. "Our Birds and Bees programme will use 21st century skills not simply as a means to acquire white-collar jobs, but as a vehicle to creatively solve national and global challenges."
He added: "We seek to empower our future generation to become carers, doers, and thinkers."
