Concerned: JI demands release of activists

Osama and Ajmal are brothers who were arrested under fake allegations and released after a court hearing.

KARACHI: The abduction of two Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) activists by the intelligence agencies has raised alarm among party members, said the JI Karachi chapter president Muhammad Hussain Mehanti and JI Bin Qasim chapter president Abdul Jameel. “We demand the release of Osama Waheed and Ajmal Waheed, who were kidnapped by the agencies on Friday,” they said. Osama and Ajmal are brothers who were arrested under fake allegations and released after a court hearing.
