Solid steps are being taken to provide relief to citizens

Cooperation among various segments of the society is imperative for maintaining peace, law and order and ensuring security said Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi, Muhammad Ahsan Tufail on Friday.
He was speaking at Khuli Kutchery or open court at the gate of his office. The top cop of the Rawalpindi division said that people should perform the duties designated to them. Policemen, doctors, teachers lawyers, parents and so on, every individual has a duty towards the society, which should be fulfilled.
RPO Tufail listened to the complaints of traders and transporters and a large number of citizens from four districts of the region including Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi attended the open court.
People on this occasion recorded their complaints and RPO issued on the spot orders to the police officers.
Tufail said police are holding open courts on the special instructions of CM Usman Buzdar and Inspector General of Police Punjab for the provision of relief and justice to public.
The citizens having any complaint particularly against the police can attend the 'Khuli Kutcheries' and present their applications to the Police officers so that appropriate action on their complaint could be taken and they could be provided relief.
The RPO said that solid steps were being taken to provide relief to the citizens and their grievances were being addressed.
