Robber lynched: Mob shoots car thief
Horde beats up robbers, one of them shot by someone in the crowd, however, no weapons were found on them.

A mob beat a man and then someone from the group shot him dead after he was caught trying to snatch a car in Shadman Town.
Shahra-e-Noor Jahan police said that the victim had two accomplices, one escaped and the other was arrested. The incident took place in Sector 14-A, early Saturday, when three alleged car lifters were trying to snatch a Toyota Corolla.
Witnesses said that when they heard screaming, people in the area got hold of the two armed robbers and beat them. One of them was shot.
Someone called the police helpline at ‘15’.
According to duty officer ASI Rana Iftikhar, both suspects were immediately taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries. The police did not find any pistol on him.
According to initial investigations, someone from the mob took the pistol from the car thieves and shot at them with it.
The suspect was identified as Ibrahim and initially he told the police that he had no link with the robber who died but was passing by the crime scene. However, when the police dredged up his criminal record, he confessed.
According to Ibrahim, the victim’s name was Mohammad Buksh and their accomplice was Abdul Aziz. The officer said that the suspects were car lifters and had criminal records in Karachi and Balochistan.
The police contacted the man whose car was being snatched but he was too scared to say anything at this point in time.
