PIA restores A320 aircraft to its fleet
The test flight of the aircraft was conducted successfully

Just a month after reviving the grounded Boeing 777 aircraft, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has added another A320 aircraft to its fleet, which was grounded for more than 13 months.
This was the second grounded aircraft that has been made operational, confirmed PIA spokesperson Mashood Tajwar. Earlier in June, PIA’s Boeing 777, which had been grounded for 1.5 years, was declared fit to fly after repairs.
“Now the airline is left with no grounded aircraft except the ones undergoing mandatory routine maintenance checks,” he said.
On Tuesday, the test flight of the aircraft was conducted successfully and now, it will be flying routine flights first domestically and then internationally, the spokesperson said.
