KARACHI:
Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information, Law and Anti-Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab, while commenting on the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), said that the government was being run by the IMF instead of the prime minister. While addressing the media at the media corner of the Sindh Assembly on Tuesday, he further said that the steady rise in gas and electricity tariff was unjustified. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government denigrated foreign investment, he said, adding that that the rulers were behaving like a step-mother to the people of Pakistan, especially the people of Sindh. He said that the prime minister should remember the promises he made to the nation before coming into power. He added that the Pakistan Peoples Party will never favour the anti-people policies of the PTI government.
