CPO Muhammad Faisal says police’s primary responsibility was to protect public’s lives and properties

Be courteous to people, City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Faisal Rana told the police force on Monday. He warned policemen against keeping any links with criminal elements. Addressing a general parade held at Police Lines Headquarters, the CPO said that police’s primary responsibility was to protect public’s lives and properties. He added that all efforts should be made to send criminals behind the bars. The CPO repeated that a strict action would be taken against the police officials who were found negligent in their duties. Further, the CPO also awarded certificates of appreciation to two ASIs, Jamal and Sajjad, on excellent performance in parade.
