It's all pizzazz and glam at this years LSA - but who shone brighter than the rest?

KARACHI:
It's that time of year again. As the Lux Style Awards (LSA) rolled out its 18th edition on Sunday night, celebrities brought their A-game to the red carpet.

Stars exuded magnanimous outfits at one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the country, making it a memorable night for industry insiders, fashion enthusiasts and others in attendance.  Mahira Khan blew everyone away (as usual) in a stunning gold ensemble while Iqra Aziz served some serious Deepika Padukone vibes in a sky-high ponytail. Not to forget, Sadaf Kanwal brought neon perfection on stage.

While we saw celebrities sport some trends we predicted earlier - neon and the high hair - we didn't see any sign of the #MeToo dress that we would've been glad to witness at the fashion extravaganza. Nonetheless, celebrities put their best foot forward at the event.

3 trends we would like to see at this year's Lux Style Awards

Compiled below are our favourite looks from the star-studded evening.

The Balu Mahi actor was everything we wanted to see at LSA and more. Hitting the neon trend on the head, Sadaf stood out from the rest in ace designer Sana Safinaz. She also took home the Model of the Year award, which was undoubtedly a well-deserved win!

What a ravishing look! The Khaani star treated us all in a figure-hugging purple number. Sana's makeup was also on-point with smokey eyes and nude lips. Minimalistic jewels created an ambiance hard to forget.

Nabila

All we can say is, woot woot! The makeup guru took home the prestigious Lifetime Achievement in Fashion award which her two sons presented her on stage with. While we were all shedding a tear or two, we could not help but appreciate how elegant Nabila looked.  She exuded femininity in a gold-pleated ensemble by Japanese designer Issey Miyake, paired with a stunning headpiece by local designer Haya Lutfullah. The clip was a customised creation representing her journey in fashion.

Roshanay Afridi

Roshanay looked like a Grecian goddess in a silky ivory ensemble by Sana Safinaz.  Simple, understated elegance is the way to go with an asymmetrical sleeve to jazz up the look.  The model took the LSA to new fashion heights with a clean cut and subtle accessories. Definitely a look to go down in the books!

Anam Malik

She definitely led the pack for best dressed! Her dress screamed LSA all over. It was a perfect look that encompassed all the glitz and glamour of the night! The Lux Style Nominee had us floored in a purple frilled Élan creation and the wet hair look reminded us of Hollywood glamour in all the right ways. Keeping in with the frill trend, Anam oozed elegance and amped it up with understated jewellery and makeup, letting her natural beauty shine. We hereby deem her the best dressed of LSA 2019!
