The Islamabad Chief Commissioner ordered to demolish illegal encroachments on forest land

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Chief Commissioner (CC) ordered to recover occupied forest land in the federal capital. The CC also visited forests in Zone-III and reviewed boundaries fixed to demarcate forest land on Friday. He ordered to demolish illegal encroachments on forest land and said that occupation of public land would not be tolerated at any cost. He said that the operation against illegal encroachments would continue without any discrimination. Furthermore, the CC also visited the Islamabad Zoo and inspected its different sections. He directed the related zoo authorities to improve arrangements for visitors and ordered them to place information boards for public guidance.
