ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Judicial Council summoned the attorney general of Pakistan (AGP) to appear before the body on July 12 in regard to the presidential references against Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice KK Agha.

Sources confirmed to The Express Tribune that SJC has issued a notice to the AGP for July 12, which will be the third SJC meeting on the presidential references against two judges.

It is learned that Justice Qazi Faez Isa has already submitted his reply in SJC with regard to the presidential reference against his alleged non-disclosure of three foreign properties, owned by his wife. Likewise, SHC judge KK Agha has also his submitted reply.

It is expected that the AGP will submit his response over the judges replies on charges against them.
