Workshop: Study being conducted at 15 districts

The Louis Berger Group is carrying out a study on water supply and drainage in 15 districts of Sindh

HYDERABAD: The Louis Berger Group is carrying out a four-phase study on water supply and drainage in 15 districts of Sindh on the left bank of the River Indus. The study will be conducted in consultation with the community and stakeholders. The group arranged its first workshop of the second phase in Hyderabad. Eleven more workshops will be held before this phase ends by October 2011. In the last two phases, a study will be done on the technical, economic, environmental and social viability of the recommendations, and finally, designs for implementation will be prepared.
