Fehmida Mirza, the acting president and speaker of the National Assembly, addressed an audience at the inauguration of a gas supply scheme at Din Muhammad Punjabi. “The Pakistan Peoples Party is dealing with terrorists at a time when the country is facing an economic crunch and there is post-flood rehabilitation,” she said. “Badin’s development has been ignored for a long time and projects considered harmful by the community were implemented,” she observed. She also inaugurated a community centre, worth Rs25 million, built in Khoski, Badin.
