The University of Peshawar has signed an agreement with Nutrition International for enhancing the capacity of health and population welfare workforce in health supply chain management for better medicine management, efficacy and storage in the province. The capacity will be enhanced through the Institute of Management Studies at the University of Peshawar. University of Peshawar (UOP) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Asif Khan and Nutrition International Country Head Dr Shabina Raza signed the memorandum of understanding from their respective sides. Through this agreement, master trainers from the Institute of Management Studies will train around 80 health and population welfare officials over a series of five-day workshops. USAID global health supply chain management Chemonics project carried out master training workshops for the academics of Institute of Management Studies, last year.
