Captain (retd) Arif Nawaz Khan says monitoring must be ensured at Police Khidmat Centres
LAHORE:
Monitoring must be ensured to further improve service delivery of the recently established Police Khidmat Centres, said Punjab Inspector General Police (IGP) Captain (retd) Arif Nawaz Khan. He expressed his opinion while presiding over an important meeting at the Central Police Office (CPO) to discuss the performance of the Khidmat Centres.
“Professionally trained and competent staff should be deputed at Khidmat Marakaz for public facilitation. After successful working in Multan and Lahore, the ambit of the Mobile Khidmat Marakaz should be increased to all districts of the province.”
The IGP added that for the facilitation of the public and for improved service delivery, monitoring through software and performance evaluation of staff must be ensured. A quick upgradation of Khidmat Centres must be implemented.”
He suggested that Lahore capital city police officer (CCPO) and all district police officers should make surprise visits to Khidmat Centres more often to brief the staff about their duties and help further improve their performance.
He directed to complete the necessary arrangements as soon as possible for the launch of Police Mobile Khidmat Markaz across all districts of Punjab after successful implementation of the first two initiatives.
