Charge-sheet against Yousuf Gillani again not framed
Gillani’s counsel said that his client could not make it to the court as he had received threatening messages

Once again charge sheet against former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani, Midas Chief Executive Officer Inam Akbar and others in award of ‘illegal’ contracts of advertisement case could not be framed due to non-presence of all the accused.
Accountability court judge Muhammad Arshad Malik heard the case here on Tuesday.
Gillani’s counsel said that his client could not make it to the court as he had received threatening messages and his life was in danger.
Akbar’s counsel informed the court that his client could not come as he had to appear for a reference in Karachi.
The judge ordered the law enforcing agencies to make special security arrangements outside the court premises.
The court adjourned the hearing till August 6, ordering all the accused to ensure their presence.
