Samsung confirms Note 10 August launch
Two versions of the phone will be revealed at the press event, one of which may be called Note 10+ or Note 10 Pro
NEW YORK CITY:
The much awaited Galaxy Note 10 will be released on August 7 at a Samsung event. Two versions of the phone will be revealed at the press event, one of which is likely to be called Note 10+ or Note 10 Pro.
The company still withholds details on the Note 10, but the press invite indicates that users can anticipate changes in the pen and camera departments.
Although changes to the S Pen make sense, the single-lens camera seen in the press invite made many fell under the illusion that Samsung could add a camera in the stylus.
Samsung revs up smartphone desire with Galaxy Fold, S10
This seems improbable and the camera in the invite is likely to be the redesigned cutout that has been positioned in the middle of the screen instead of the top right corner as positioned on the Galaxy S10+.
The Note 10 generation will include two models, one comprising of a 6.3-inch screen and another one with a 6.75-inch display. The latter will steal the spotlight with its features: upgraded specs as opposed to the smaller version and upto 12 GB Ram of storage as indicated by leaks.
Samsung says no anticipated shipping date yet for Galaxy Fold
Some not so thrilling changes can be expected too. The headphone jack may be removed so Samsung could insist for wireless headphones or an alternative USB Type-C on the next model. If this is the case then the S11 may be released in early 2020 with the headphone jack removed as well.
