Former federal minister petitions SHC against flight ban

KARACHI:
Former federal minister and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Aijaz Ali Jakhrani filed a plea in the Sindh High Court on Saturday challenging the inclusion of his name in the Exit Control List (ECL).
The former minister has maintained in his plea that the National Accountability Bureau's (NAB) inquiry against him is based on mala fide intentions.
The plea mentions that NAB has recommended that Jakhrani’s name be included in the ECL.
The former minister has asked the court that the federal government be restricted from including his name in the ECL.
NAB is opening an inquiry pertaining to unfair use of authority against Jakhrani.
