Illegal land allotment case: NAB files reference against Mustafa Kamal
NAB says the suspects alotted government plots illegally, bringing Rs2.5b loss to the national exchequer
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday filed a reference in an accountability court of Karachi against Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal, who is also former Karachi mayor, and 10 more suspects for their alleged involvement in illegal allotments of government land.

According to Express News, other suspects named in the reference include Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Director General Iftikhar Qaimkhani, Fazlur Rehman, Mumtaz Haider, Muhammad Yaqoob, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Rafiq, Nazeer Zardari and Muhammad Daud.
NAB maintained in its reference that the suspects were involved in illegal allotment of the government plots and brought a loss of Rs2.5 billion loss to the national exchequer.
Earlier in June, the NAB had filed another reference against Kamal and others regarding alleged illegal allotment of around 5,500 square yards of commercial land to Bahria Town for a multi-storey building.
