One dead, two young girls badly injured in car accident

Four students kidnapped in the capital, police remain clueless of suspects’ identity

ISLAMABAD:
A girl was killed and two were seriously injured by a speeding car in the remits of Noon Police Station at Kashmir Highway, one. The police have been unable to arrest any suspect although the case has been registered.

Shokat Zia told the police that his nieces were driving on Kashmir Highway in their car, when Faraz Ahmed driving his car rashly, rammed them. After which one of her nieces died, and two were critically injured.

Kidnapping case

Meanwhile, in different areas of the federal capital, two more young girls, one of whom is a student of NUML university, and two boys were kidnapped. Police have remained unsuccessful thus far in finding the victims, nor do they have any clues regarding the identity of the suspects.


Ramna Police was told by Ghulam Abbas that his wife’s niece has been kidnapped by unknown suspects, while police of Sector I-9 police station was told by M. Nawaz that his daughter ‘M N’ went to NUML university and has been kidnapped by the unknown suspects from NUML University Sector H-9. There has been no development regarding the kidnapping in any of the concerned police stations.

Supermarket assault

Moreover, in the remits of police station at Jinnah Supermarket F-7, a shopkeeper, along with his staff beat up two customers after a conflict over a carton of milk.

Despite identifying the suspect and registering the case the police did not make any arrests. The police was told by Shahid Aziz that the victims Bilawal Khawer and Ahmed Tahir bought a carton of milk from the suspect Arshad’s store in Jinnah Supermarket, after they found out something was wrong with the milk, they returned to the shop to replace the carton, after which, the shopkeeper and his companions allegedly beat them with rods and sticks.
