Security of CPEC projects among top priorities: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Captain (retd) Arif Nawaz Khan has said foolproof security of Chinese professionals working on different projects of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) across province was among the prime duties of Punjab Police.
He said this during a meeting with Chinese Consul General Long Dingbin at the Central Police Office on Thursday. The matters of mutual interest along with security of Chinese citizens were discussed during the meeting.
The IGP said professionally trained force equipped with latest weapons, Special Protection Unit (SPU), deployed to perform security duty on CPEC projects.
