One killed, 15 injured in gas explosion in Lahore

LAHORE: A man was killed while 15 others were injured after an explosion ripped through a bakery due to gas leakage in the area of Ichra.

All injured were shifted to a hospital where two people are reported to be in critical condition. Police officials said that a blast occurred in the morning in a private bakery located in Ferozepur Road due to gas leakage.

As a result, the entire bakery was destroyed in the explosion. Police and Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to hospital in critical condition.
