Agro-based skills vital for development: Minister
Symposium organised by department of Rural Sociology and IBA in collaboration with ICDD
Punjab Management and Professional Development Minister Syed Hussain Jahanian Gerdezi stated that developing agro-based skills was vital for achieving sustainable development, alleviating poverty and improving the national economy.
He expressed these views while addressing an international symposium at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) on Wednesday on ‘Global Value Chains, Power Relations and Challenges for Decent Work Agenda in Developing Countries.
The symposium was organised by the department of Rural Sociology and Institute of Business Administration in collaboration with the International Centre for Development and Decent Work (ICDD).
