Cristiano Ronaldo has moved away from Real Madrid, but he still feels they are the ones to beat when it comes to Champions League.

This may be the reason that he has reportedly involved himself in negotiations for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, Matthijs de Ligt and compatriot Joao Felix.

The Portuguese star is trying to ensure none of the stars end up at Real Madrid since it will strengthen the Zinedine Zidane-led squad, Diario Gol has reported.

His involvement has helped tilt the above mentioned players inclination towards Juventus rather than Real Madrid.

Zidane is particularly interested in Pogba, which some sources say has become the priority signing in this summer transfer window.
