Veteran actor Zaheen Tahira hospitalised, celebrities call for prayers
The actor is best known for her roles in 'Khuda Ki Basti' and 'Babban Khala Ki Betiyan'

Veteran actor Zaheen Tahira has been admitted to a hospital in Karachi on Sunday due to cardiac issues. She has been put on a ventilator.
Upon receiving the news of her illness, celebrities took to social media, requesting everyone to pray for the Babban Khala Ki Betiyan star's speedy recovery.
Actor Imran Abbas shared a post on Instagram saying, "The legendary actress Zaheen Tahira is admitted in Aga Khan Hospital due to a serious heart attack and she needs our prayers as she is on ventilator. Please pray for her recovery."

He also posted a picture of Tahira on his Instagram to reminisce about the time he spent with her. The Ranjha Ranjha Kardi star mentioned how she used to come on set, crying about her bedridden daughter. “She used to laugh whenever I tried making her laugh, but to only cry later.”

The legendary Khuda Ki Basti actor started her career in the 60’s. She has appeared in over 700 drama serials in lead and supporting roles since then. Tahira has also produced and directed a few television series.
Tahira was awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2013 by the President of Pakistan in recognition of her contributions to the entertainment industry.
