A division bench of the court was hearing a petition against the non-implementation of court orders regarding the arrest of the accused. The petition had been filed by Nawabzada Jamil Akbar Bugti.
Former president Pervez Musharraf, former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, former Balochistan Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani and former Chief Minister Jam Yousaf are accused in the case.
The Interior Secretary submitted a reply through Deputy Attorney General Malik Sikandar, saying the Interior Ministry will seek extradition of the accused living abroad.
The secretary said the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has also been directed to seek red warrants of the accused.
The Additional Advocate General Nasrullah Achakzai also submitted an investigation report in the court. The report states that Maulvi Malook, who had led the funeral prayers of Nawab Bugti, had said he could not confirm if the body inside the coffin was Nawab Bugti’s.
