QUETTA:

In a decisive move to address absenteeism in Balochistan's education sector, Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has initiated a comprehensive action plan targeting teachers who are chronically absent from their duties.

Under this campaign, 90 teachers in Dera Bugti district have been suspended due to habitual absence, according to a notification issued by the provincial government.

An official Inquiry Committee, led by the assistant commissioner of Dera Bugti, will conduct further investigations and oversee the disciplinary process against these teachers. The CM emphasised that no region will be exempt from this effort, with actions planned across the province to ensure teachers fulfill their responsibilities.

"Even in my constituency, Dera Bugti, I will not support any teacher who neglects their duties," CM Bugti stated, underscoring his commitment to accountability in education.
