3-year-old kidnapped for ransom by cousin

However, Abdullah was not released despite payment of the ransom

Police recovered a three year old boy after he was abducted by his cousin from the Thana Dhalay area in Rajkot, Express News reported Thursday.

Three year old Abdullah is the son of Riyaz, who recently returned to Pakistan with his father.

Abdullah was kidnapped by his cousin Aamir and two of his friends. A woman named Fauzia also helped them.

They asked Abdullah's family for a sum of Rs5 million as ransom money. Later, they settled for Rs1 million.


However, Abdullah was not released despite payment of the ransom.

Police continued to investigate the matter and recovered Abdullah from Fauzia’s house.

During the police raid at her house, Fauzia revealed to the police that Abdullah was kept at her house by Aamir and his accomplices. She added that they had given her Rs100,000 for her help.

Police arrested Aamir and his accomplices after Fauzia located them.
