AJK president urged religious figures to play their role in inculcating unity among the Muslims

MUZAFFARABAD:
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has urged Ulema and mushaikh to play their role for promoting unity among the Muslims and establishment of an Islamic welfare society based on justice and equality.

Khan was addressing as the chief guest at the annual Urs ceremony of prominent saints Allama Pir Mohiyuddin Ghaznavi and Allama Pir Alauddin Siddiqui at Narian Sharif in Tarakhel Poonch district.

He said that Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was a great philosopher, politician and diplomat, and through his message, he had united mankind in Madina where he introduced a new concept of politics, diplomacy, and morality based on peace, tranquility and communal harmony.


The AJK president urged religious figures to play their role in inculcating unity among the Muslims, spread the message of peace and harmony and help the oppressed Muslims in different parts of the world particularly in occupied Kashmir.

Paying glowing tributes to Allama Pir Mohiyuddin Ghaznavi and Allama Pir Alauddin Siddiqui for their services, Khan said that Narian Sharif's spiritual family had established educational institutions at every nook and corner of Azad Kashmir and had made a great contribution for the promotion of modern and religious teachings.

AJK president lauded the role of Noor TV for promoting Islamic teachings across the world through its satellite network.  He commended the people over the establishment of Army Public School in Murshidabad and assured that Tararkhel Narian Sharif road will be widened soon.

Earlier, on his arrival in Murshidabad, the president met Pir Noorul Arfeen Siddiqui and Pir Sultanul Arfeen at Dargah Narian Sharif and discussed various issues.
