Appointment: Dr Samina Waqar new VC of FJWU

RAWALPINDI: Eminent educationist Professor Dr Samina Waqar has taken the charge of Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi (FJWU). Governor Punjab has issued an official notice in this regard on yesterday. Dr Samina Waqar is the third VC of FJWU after Professor Dr Najma Najam and Professor Dr Saeeda Asadullah Khan. She is an eminent educationist and has been serving in the field of education for last 33 years. She has also served at Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan and FJWU Rawalpindi.
