National bank: Islamabad, Quetta regions go online

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has said that it has gone completely online in Islamabad and Quetta regions, in line with the bank’s strategy to connect majority of its branches electronically by the end of the year. According to a press release, NBP said it has initiated a number of information technology projects to make the bank one of the most technologically-advanced financial institutions in the country. Currently, the bank is in the implementation phase of core banking system which is one of the largest IT projects and covers all banking functions for maximum convenience of customers. PRESS RELEASE
