Rehabilitation: SAC orders restoration of Alam Bridge
(SAC) of Gilgit-Baltistan has directed the (FWO) and (NHA) to restore the Alam Bridge.
GILGIT:
A two-member bench of the Supreme Appellate Court (SAC) of Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) has directed the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and National Highway Authority (NHA) to restore the Alam Bridge as soon as possible. The FWO informed the court that work on restoration had already started, and an alternate road has been provided via Jalalabad in the meantime. The court ordered FWO authorities to speed up the work and complete the project within the next three weeks, as residents of Baltistan were facing a lot of difficulties.
