Punjab Health minister visits hospital
Says no leniency would be tolerated for those providing medical facilities
Many delegates from the United States and government officials were present at the seminar
LAHORE:
Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid paid a surprise visit to the children’s ward at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and inspected the medical facilities being provided to patients as well as cleanliness at the facility.
She stated that no leniency would be tolerated in providing medical facilities at children wards of public sectors hospital in Punjab.
She said that arrangements should be ensured for providing treatment for patients suffering from heatstroke and gastro related maladies at all public sector hospitals.
She said that surprise visits were being made in order to ensure medical facilities in children wards at government hospitals.
She also visited different wards of the hospital and inquired after patients.
The minister said that she was personally monitoring the facilities being provided to patients.
