RAWALPINDI:
The Civil Defense Department (CDD) sealed three buildings over a lack of fire safety equipment.
All buildings including two cotton warehouses and a two-storey school bag factory had caught fire two days ago in which goods worth millions turned to ashes.
The CDD District Officer Talib Hussain said that they had been strictly directed by the deputy commissioner (DC) to seal all such infrastructures which lack basic fire safety equipment.
He said that the buildings would not be unsealed until required fire safety equipment was installed.
