Arrangements for protection of plants

A hot spell affects flowers and saplings at green belts especially on the Metro route

MULTAN: Chairman Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Ejaz Hussain Janjua said that arrangements were being made for protection of saplings and flowers at green belts located in the city. During a meeting with PHA horticulture officers here on Monday, he said that the recent hot spell had affected flowers and saplings at green belts especially on the Metro route. He said that officials have been directed to pay special attention to saplings. He urged people to cooperate with PHA officials to keep green belts clean and beautiful. He asked them to avoid throwing garbage at green belts.
