Toddler accidentally kills brother with father’s pistol

The boys were playing with the weapon which their father had carelessly left loaded in their home

A five-year-old boy accidentally shot dead his two-year-old brother while playing with their father’s pistol.

According to police, the boys were playing with the weapon which their father had carelessly left loaded in their home in Pindi Mehri village.

Police handed over the body to the heirs after completing legal formalities, though a case has yet to be registered.


In another incident, three picnickers drowned in Indus River within the jurisdiction of Attock Khurd police station. Rescue 1122 recovered bodies of Dilbaz Arshad and Sharoom Shabbir both residents of Islamabad. The rescuers were however still searching for body of Shahzeb Khan a resident of Peshawar.

At least eight people including a police constable died in different areas of Attock district during Eidul Fitr.

Police recovered body of a constable Noaman Ahmad from inside his rented house in Mohala Mehrpura Sharqi.
