Murree traffic plan works, no jams reported
Traffic police had devised a detailed plan to keep traffic flowing
RAWALPINDI:
The district administration is making all out efforts in facilitating tourists visiting Murree during Eidul Fitr holidays, said Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
Traffic police had devised a detailed plan to keep traffic flowing. It was a daunting task to manage the influx of huge rush in and out of the most famous holiday spot in the division.
All departments including Rescue 1122, civil defence and police were on high alert to deal with any emergency.
Sanitary workers were deployed in three shifts to keep the main roads and markets of the hill station clean, Randhawa said.
Moreover, entry of heavy transport was also banned and roads had been marked one-way to ensure easy entry and exit of vehicles.
