Muslims around the world gather for congregational Eid prayers

Muslims around the world are preparing to celebrate the Eidul Fitr holiday, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramazan.

Several nations including Afghanistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Albania are celebrating Eid on Wednesday.

Photos from Reuters and AFP show Muslims gathered to offer Eid prayers in the congregation. The slideshow also shows the Muslim community in Bangladesh heading back home to spend the festival with their families.
