LAHORE:

He has sought a report from Secretary Health and Commissioner Sahiwal division about the incident and directed to submit a detailed report after the investigation. Legal action should also be initiated against those responsible for this negligence, he said.
Buzdar further said he was deeply saddened over the death of children and all the sympathies of the Punjab government were with the bereaved heirs. “I have directed to investigate this tragic incident and legal action will be initiated against those responsible for this negligence. Such an incident is not tolerable at any cost,” he added.
The CM has also directed the Regional Police Officer (RPO) to submit a report over the murder of a seven-year-old girl in Multan.
Meanwhile, Buzdar also expressed his strong indignation over not issuance of funds for the students studying in China on scholarships and sought a report from the higher education department secretary. On his instructions, steps were taken to release funds amounting to Rs200 million and the audit copy has been signed in this regard. He has directed that early release of funds should be ensured at all costs. “It is the responsibility of the department concerned to timely release funds and the students should not face any difficulty in future,” he added.
