PESHAWAR: Lower Dir district administration has launched a 10-days cleanliness campaign in to provide residents with clean and healthy environment. Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ali Yousafzai inaugurated the Cleanliness Drive in Munda participated by MPA, Bahadar Khan, TMO Munda, Tehsil Nazim Munda Hamayun Khan, shopkeepers, general public. The municipal administrations have formulated a comprehensive plan to dispose of garbage dumps and remove filth from sewerage drains in almost all parts of Lower Dir. The sanitary workers and sweepers have been assigned special tasks to clean their respective areas and submit a progress report on daily basis. Awareness walks also arranged in other sub-divisions to raise awareness among the citizen about the importance of cleanliness.
