LPG prices rise once again
Prices have been increased by Rs5 per kilogramme again.
KARACHI:
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices have been increased by Rs5 per kilogramme again on Tuesday, the fifth increase in twenty days.
Price of a domestic cylinder has now increased by Rs50 while the price of a commercial cylinder has been increased by Rs200, according to the latest increase. Prices have increased by Rs25 per kilogramme in a period of less than three weeks.
LPG Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar has asked Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) to control the ever-increasing price of the fuel. He said that a protest will be staged outside Ogra office if the decision is not reviewed.
Moreover, Minister for Petroleum Dr Asim Hussain summoned a session of the LPG Association in Islamabad today (Wednesday).
