Robber shot dead by accomplice

Fur robbers looted money from various areas at Pensara Road near Chak No 78-JB Jawaddi

FAISALABAD: A robber was shot dead by his accomplice after a quarrel over stolen money in Thikriwala police station limits. Police said that four robbers looted money from various areas at Pensara Road near Chak No 78-JB Jawaddi. However, when it came time to divide the stolen money, the robbers got into a scuffle.

One of the robbers opened fire, killing one and injuring the remaining two. He fled the scene of the crime along with the stolen money. Police reached the scene after receiving information about the incident and took the body into custody.

Officials also shifted the injured robbers to a hospital for medical treatment. The injured robbers were identified as Ghulam Murtaza of Chak No 91-JB and Zeeshan of Chak No 83-JB. Officials arrested their fourth accomplice Aqeel on the information provided by the two and also managed to recover the looted money.
