K-P expands cabinet to 14 ministers
After the 18th constitutional amendments, the provincial cabinet cannot rise beyond 14 ministers

In what could be an early Eid gift, the provincial government has elevated two advisers and two aides to the statures of provincial ministers, raising the total number of provincial ministers to 14. A notification issued from Chief Minister Mahmood Khan’s office elevated the Advisers for Education Ziaullah Khan and Special Assistant on Industries Abdul Karim Khan as provincial ministers. Two other special assistants to the chief minister, including Special Assistant to CM on Energy and Power Affairs Himayatullah and IT Kamran Bangash, have also been promoted to the status of ministers. The adviser to the Chief Minister Ajmal Wazir has also been promoted to the status of Minister for Tribal Affairs in the K-P cabinet. The notification also added that the statures and perks and privileges of the ministers will increase. After the 18th constitutional amendments, the provincial cabinet cannot rise beyond 14 ministers.
