Realme continues Pakistan expansion, reveals new devices

Customers can enjoy the benefits of power and style in different price segments

Chinese smartphone company, Realme, unveiled two new products in an anniversary event on Wednesday.

The two devices come after the company entered Pakistan's smartphone market in January. The Realme 3 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 710 processor has a 4045mAh battery. The device also comes with a 6.3-inch display having Corning Gorilla 5 protection.

Realme arrives in Pakistan with smartphone launch

Having a 16 megapixel and 5 megapixel dual rear cameras, Realme 3 Pro also has a 25-megapixel front camera. It also supports super slow-motion video shoots at 720p.

Like its predecessor, Realme 3 Pro also has two variants, one of which has a 4GB RAM priced at Rs 35,499, while the other supports a 6GB RAM priced at Rs 39,999.

A new entry-level smartphone, Realme C2 was also introduced at the event, having 6.1- inch screen and a full HD 1080p Dewdrop display. The device is powered by Octa core Helio P22 processor, 3GB Ram along with a 4000mAh battery.

Priced at Rs 20,999, Realme C2 is equipped with 13 megapixel and 2 megapixel dual rear cameras.

Announcing the launch, He Shunzhi, Marketing Head of Realme Pakistan, said, “With the launch of Realme 3 Pro and Realme C2, customers can enjoy the benefits of Power and Style in different price segments. In less than one year we have launched 8 products across 4 product series and achieved 6.5 million fans. This has been possible only with the support and love of our fans. In the coming year, we will continue to be the challenger and disruptor in the global smartphone market.”

Review: Realme 2 Pro, the right time to enter

Both new smartphones will go on sale at Daraz.pk from May 30. Whether the devices will be able to break into Pakistan's diverse smartphone market remains to be seen.
