PPP wants Wazir’s production orders issued

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed his resentment over the non-issuance of production orders of MNA Ali Wazir.

The PPP chairman made these remarks while chairing a meeting of senior party leaders here at Zardari House along with the party’s co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. The meeting was attended by several party leaders including former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Faryal Talpur, Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, Naveed Qamar, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Lateef Khosa, Humayun Khan, Murtaza Wahab, Qayyum Soomro, Chaudhry Manzoor, Amir Fida Paracha and Farhatullah Babar.

Bilawal added a Member of the National Assembly has been accused of terrorism and is being held under custody but the speaker has not taken any notice of this fact. He then demanded that Wazir’s production orders are issued immediately.

Besides, the MNA’s arrest, senior party leaders also discussed the overall situation in the country including rising tensions in Waziristan, inflation and ‘revengeful’ accountability process.

Meanwhile, both Bilawal and former president are scheduled to appear before the NAB court on Wednesday (today).
