Motorway Police foils smuggling bid worth Rs10m
Recovered items include mobile phones, digital devices, air conditioners, paper sheets and cloth

Motorway Police on Sunday foiled an attempt to smuggle non-custom paid items to Punjab and arrested two people.
According to police, a truck carrying a supposedly empty container, from Peshawar to Punjab, met an accident near Kalar Kahar after its brakes failed.
Customs foil currency smuggling bid
When Motorway Police arrived at the scene and checked the container, they found non-custom paid items worth Rs 10 million.
Items included large quantities of mobile phones, digital devices, air conditioners, paper sheets and bundles of cloth.
Police arrested the driver and the passenger and handed them over to customs authorities for further investigation.
