Temperature in Karachi is likely to remain between 40°C to 42°C as the second heat wave of the month begins from Saturday, Express News reported.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), extremely hot weather is likely to grip the port city from May 25 to May 27 during which sea breeze will remain halted during the day time and will resume in the evening.

Medical experts have advised people to remain indoors from 11 am to 3 pm to remain safe from the effects of hot weather.
“People must cover their heads with wet clothes while those who are fasting must increase the intake of water during the time of Iftar and Sehr,” they recommend.
