Developmental projects: Water system set up in S Waziristan

The political administration in South Waziristan Agency (SWA) has completed various developmental projects, including a drinking water supply system. According to a press release issued by the Directorate of Information Fata Secretariat on Monday, the water system will provide potable water to approximately 5,500 people of the Kotkai Malik Shahi and Sararogha Tehsil districts of South Waziristan. The administration has also constructed a well and a flood protection wall. The press release stated that the 182-meter-long flood protection wall will not only benefit 1,100 people of the Saragodha Tehsil district, but will also protect agricultural land, tube wells and houses.
