Progress of ongoing fumigation drive reviewed
PESHAWAR:
Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) has decided to launch a fumigation drive jointly with Health Department and district administration to forestall malaria and dengue outbreak in Peshawar.
The sanitation company has directed all zonal managers to devise a comprehensive strategy and involve Health Department as well as District Administration Peshawar ahead of the drive to be launched in September.
The decision was taken at a meeting held here with Chief Executive Officer Syed Zafar Ali Shah in the chair wherein all zonal managers and managers were present. Progress of the ongoing fumigation drive that has been underway in April was also reviewed.
