Kidnapped engineer: QESCO employees stage protest
Employees of Quetta Electricity Supply Company staged a protest outside the Balochistan Assembly building.

Employees of Quetta Electricity Supply Company (Qesco) staged a protest outside the Balochistan Assembly building on Monday, demanding immediate release of kidnapped Chief Engineer Rauf Baloch.
Baloch was kidnapped from the Satellite Town area of Quetta last Thursday. During the protest employees threatened to suspend the power supply to Quetta.
The strike was called off after a delegation from Qesco and the Wapda Hydro Union held talks with Chief Minister Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani and cabinet members.
